B-BBEE Rating Achieved

June 24th, 2010

We have recently received our certificate after the annual B-BBEE rating audit performed by Empowerdex.

This verification audit and report provides an independent opinion on the B-BBEE status, in terms of the Department of Trade and industry’s Code of Good Practice.

Ozzie now guides the Advantage ACT B-BBEE program.

Based on the verification, validation and analysis performed by Empowerdex using the information presented, Advantage ACT has been confirmed as a Level Four Contributor.

The audit report also showed that significant progress has been made in the scores for the individual areas that make up the Advantage ACT Score Card being:

  • Employment Equity
  • Skills Development
  • Preferential Procurement, and
  • Socio-Economic Development

Ozzie Tawineyi (pictured here with the B-BBEE

certificate) has been appointed to oversee our B-BBEE program and we are confident that under his guidance, more progress will be made during the coming year.
