The legal liability course for Managers focuses on hands on understanding of various SHE legal issues.

This course/session will provide clarity on the accountabilities and responsibilities you have accepted with your appointment. Ignorance in the eye of the law is not an excuse!

Pre-Requisites
It is advisable and highly recommended to have prior knowledge and skill in terms of Occupational Health and Safety within an organizational structure before enrolling into this course. This course is presented at a high level and fast pace.
Course Objectives
To equip delegates with international guideline knowledge and skill towards becoming an auditor or lead auditor within the Integrated SHEQ auditing discipline.
Course Outcomes
At the end of this course with the use of the SHE Legal Liability course material the delegate will be able to:
- Recognise their legal liability in terms of various SHE legislation
- Discuss the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSAct) sections pertaining to their individual roles
- Interpret various OHSAct regulations pertaining to their responsibilities
- Discuss the application of the COID Act to their sites
- Identify Environmental legislation applicable to their workplaces
- Participate in practical sessions pertaining to various SHE legislation and regulations
Learning Material
Delegates will use the course manual and applicable legislation.
Language
This course is presented in the English language.
Course Requirements
It is always much more effective if we use your own company documentation during training. It is suggested that you bring your relevant legal information (Appointments, duties and functions, policy statement, etc.) and any other related documentation to this training session.
Certification
You will be issued with a Certificate of Attendance on completion of this course.
