Health & Welfare Seta Gives Us The Thumbs-up

February 15th, 2010 - by Ben Fouche

When the SETA process started, Advantage A.C.T was one of the first, if not the first, Health and Safety service provider to register with the Services SETA.

Later, we had to repeat the process and move our registration to the Health & Welfare SETA.

It now feels like a long time ago and since then, every year, the Health and Welfare ETQA auditors pay us a visit.

Our last audit was done late in 2009 and we have recently received a letter from the Health and Welfare ETQA giving us feedback on the audit findings.

” I’m pleased to inform you that your organisation has been found to be in the category 1, which implies that your organisation has been granted good practice status in implementation of accreditation requirements , qualification and unit standards within the NQF”
Mr. Nathan Seotsanyana Executive Manager ETQA

Being a category 1 organisation must surely be a good thing?

As with anything in life, practice makes perfect. For a number of years now, we have received excellent responses after the Health and Welfare ETQA audits and we hope to keep it that way.
